Recipe: Crispy Onion Rings


1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup cornstarch

3 tbsp instant mashed potatoes

pinch of cayenne

1 cup soda water

2 cups Panko or any breadcrumbs

vegetable oil for frying

2 medium onions cut into thin rings

optional: oregano, Parmesan, salt, pepper for seasoning


1.whisk up the dry ingredients

2.Add the soda water and give it a quick stir then let it sit for about 10 minutes

3.Dip the onions in the batter and then coat them in breadcrumbs.

4.Fry until golden and crisp.

5.Season and serve



Recipe: Nutella spring rolls



  • Bananas, Halved
  • 1 package Refrigerated Spring Roll Wrappers
  •  Nutella Jar
  • Hot Oil For Frying
  • little amount of corn flakes “optional”


1- Trim bananas and unwrap spring roll wrappers.
2- add  the filling “about 3 tbsp of Nutella & banana”
3-Follow the wrap instruction as shown on the spring roll pack
4-deep fry for about 2 minutes until they are nice and golden.
5- Serve warm ,Sprinkle with powdered sugar or serve with ice cream



Recipe: Dynamite Chicken\ Shrimps


-450 g chicken breast cubes or shrimps

-veggie oil

-1\4 tablespoon of sugar, salt, black pepper

-1\2 tablespoon of sesame oil

-1 maggi veggie cube

– 1 tablespoon of white vinegar

-sesame seeds and chopped green onions for decoration

The Batter:

1\4 cup all purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 egg

2 tablespoons starch

1 tablespoon veggie oil

1\2 cup cold water


you have 2 options:

1- the dynamite sauce that i posted it here >> CLICK !

2- sweet sauce:

-2 tablespoons honey

-1 tablespoon sugar

-2 tablespoons ketchup

-2 tablespoons vinegar

-pinch of salt

-2 teaspoons sweet chili sauce


– mix (salt, sugar ,black pepper, sesame oil, vinegar, maggi cube) with the chicken\shrimps and keep it in the fridge for 30 min

 – mix all the batter ingredients with the chicken\shrimps

-deep fry for 3-5 min or until golden brown

-Simmer the sauce ingredients over low heat until it thickens but does not boil! ” لا يبقبق” 😛

-pour the sauce over the chicken\ shrimps , add sesame seeds , chopped green onions

-and ur done !

Sushi\ Maki rolls recipe !

if you’re following my blog you would notice that i’m a Japanese food addict! 😛

 i luv making my own maki rolls …I’ve tried lots and lots of recipes but this one is the best

  •  first of all prepare the sushi rice because it takes time !
  1. Wash 1 cup of sushi rice *enough for 3 rolls*- thoroughly in cold water until the water get clean and drain
  2. Cover the rice with cold water and stand for 20 min
  3. Drain & rinse
  4. Add the rice to 400 ml of water in a pan and bring to boil
  5. Reduce the heat and cover *after you cover it don’t ever open it that’s really important! *
  6. Simmer for 10 min only!
  7. Close the heat and keep it on side for more 10 min! *again don’t open it at all*
  8. 4 tbs of rice vinegar mix it with pinch of salt & 2 tbs of sugar mix it up until dissolve on low heat then let it cool on room temp. – *or use only 4 tbs of the seasoned rice vinegar !*
  9. now follow this video only from 2:46 min until the end for cooling the rice  
  10. now you’re rice is ready 😀
  11. remember to cover the bamboo sushi mat with plastic wrap to keep it clean
  12. bring small bowl & fill it with cold water so you can dip ur hand in it if the rice it’s too sticky !*optional*
  13. lay the soybean sheet or the nori on top of a sushi mat (see image below).
  14. spread thin layer of the rice without squashing it and keep one of sides clear about 1cm (see image below) 
  15. fill it with what ever you like , for me i added tempura shrimps,avocado,cucumber,crabs and spicy mayo *YUM*
  16.  Roll up , slice, and serve! 
  •  The spicy mayo ingredients :
*there is no specific amount of the sauces just add 1 tbs from each sauce Gradually*
  • TIPS:
  1. you can find all the ingredients in lulu-hyper or singarea-supermarket
  2. there is lots of crab kinds make sure it looks like the( below image)
  3. keep the crab 4 hours out of the freeze to separate them easily (see the image below) * DON’T EVER NEVER DEFROST THEM IN MICROWAVE*
  4. for the tempura batter mix i’ll write it in separate post soon inshallah

Home Made Frozen Yogurt

While ago i made this frozen yogurt , & i got the recpie from the lovely             “crazy yet wise” 🙂 , click here for the recipe.

PS: i added vanilla extract to add more flavor.

Or if you’re a “couch potato” person like me 😛 !! simply bring Alwafra yogurt , add one tropicana sweetener and some berries, stir with a spoon, put it in freezer for about 30 min , take out , and enjoy ur home made frozen yogurt !

add spoon of olive oil and zaatar

then add slice of tomato , lettuce, chicken turkey and mustard

pizza recipe *YUM*


who wants some home made pizza ? 😀

dough ingredients:

3 -1\2 cup flour

1-1\2 room temp. water

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 tablespoon sugar

1 tablespoon salt

1-1\2 tablespoon yeast

1 egg

1\4 cup oil

-In a small bowl, sprinkle the yeast on warm water, and stir to dissolve it. Set aside until the yeast starts forming bubbles in about 5 min

-in a bowl mix all the dry ingredients together

– add water , egg , yeast &  oil then mix mix mix

-after you finish mixing the dough, make a cross with a knife on the top of the dough, and spread with a very small amount of olive oil. This will prevent the surface of the dough from breaking too much while rising.

-Cover the bowl with a fabric, and set the bowl aside about 1- 1½ hours until the dough doubles in volume.

-spread your dough on ur  table with any shape you want ” i love random shapes”

Now The fun part !

topping :

use any topping u like

for me i added al-alali pizza sauce

black olive – cheddar cheese- mozzarella cheese Parmesan cheese and some oregano on the top


-Cook it in a pre-heated over (180 C) for 10-15 minutes-“if it’s thin crust”

-if the crust is red-brown then it’s ready  to remove from the  oven, Now u can  slice it dip it and eat it



3 min chocolate cake


1 Mug

4 tablespoons flour

3 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons powder cocoa

1 egg

3 tablespoons milk

3 tablespoons oil

3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional) mini chips would be the best

Small splash of vanilla

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well.

Add the egg and mix thoroughly.

Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.

Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla, and mix again.

Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don’t be alarmed!

Allow to cool a little

serve it with vanilla ice cream – yummy 🙂
