Recipe: Dynamite Chicken\ Shrimps


-450 g chicken breast cubes or shrimps

-veggie oil

-1\4 tablespoon of sugar, salt, black pepper

-1\2 tablespoon of sesame oil

-1 maggi veggie cube

– 1 tablespoon of white vinegar

-sesame seeds and chopped green onions for decoration

The Batter:

1\4 cup all purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 egg

2 tablespoons starch

1 tablespoon veggie oil

1\2 cup cold water


you have 2 options:

1- the dynamite sauce that i posted it here >> CLICK !

2- sweet sauce:

-2 tablespoons honey

-1 tablespoon sugar

-2 tablespoons ketchup

-2 tablespoons vinegar

-pinch of salt

-2 teaspoons sweet chili sauce


– mix (salt, sugar ,black pepper, sesame oil, vinegar, maggi cube) with the chicken\shrimps and keep it in the fridge for 30 min

 – mix all the batter ingredients with the chicken\shrimps

-deep fry for 3-5 min or until golden brown

-Simmer the sauce ingredients over low heat until it thickens but does not boil! ” لا يبقبق” 😛

-pour the sauce over the chicken\ shrimps , add sesame seeds , chopped green onions

-and ur done !

  2. How much chicken or shrimp is needed for this recipe, I’m guessing one cup if it’s the same portion as PF Chang’s? and do you mean table spoon or tea spoon when you say “spoon” – I’m also going to guess again and say tea spoon?

    In any case – thank you so much for the recipe and I will be attempting this for lunch today!

  3. Heey! You’ve mentioned veggie oil and sesame oil, but you haven’t mentioned how much of veggie oil must be put. They’ are both needed right? Thanks and love the easy recipe!
